BrightSpot: Where Connection Shines Brightest
Saturday, September 6, 2025
BrightSpot is a chance for families connect, take a breather, and have fun! Open to foster/kinship/adoptive children ages 6 weeks and up. Come for a time of connection with other parents then leave your kids with trauma trained volunteers, knowing they’re in safe and caring hands. Whether you need to run errands, grab dinner, or simply recharge- we’re here to support you.

The Haven Impact Fundraiser
Saturday, October 4, 2025 10 to Noon
We're working on an details for a crafting fundraiser to rally our community in support of foster families! This event will bring together donors, volunteers, and advocates for a gathering filled with connection, purpose, and impact. Every dollar raised will go directly toward providing essential supplies, meals, and encouragement to children in foster care and the families who welcome them. Stay tuned for more details.

We are grateful to the Triad Early Childhood Council for this recognition and for their commitment to the well-being of children and families in our community.
This award isn’t just for the Haven team—it belongs to the foster parents who open their hearts and homes again and again, to the case workers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, and to every child who reminds us why this work matters.

Foster Parents Morning Out
June 1, 2024 • 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
A chance for foster parents to take a breather while we take care of the kiddos!
Open to children of all ages. Simply drop off your kids for a fun-filled morning with The Haven Impact team, knowing they’re in safe and caring hands. Whether you need to run errands, grab a coffee, or simply recharge, we’re here to support you — because every parent deserves a moment to breathe.
We strive to offer Foster Parents Morning Out events every quarter.

High Tea with Haven
May 4, 2024 • 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
With 49 guests in attendance, we raised over $1,000 and collected 27 pairs of shoes — all thanks to the generosity of our incredible community.
